University West in Trollhättan offers a comprehensive range of educational programs, advanced courses, and courses across various disciplines including data and IT, economics and leadership, health and care, education and language, media, human and society, and technology.
Students at the university gain real-world experience during their education. Remarkably, 87% of the university’s graduates are established in the workforce within 1-1.5 years after graduation.

With more than 400 companies involved, Innovatum offers cutting-edge test and demonstration environments, a startup incubator that has supported over 180 startups, and nine business networks to foster collaboration. As one of five science parks in Västra Götaland, Innovatum plays a key role in advancing the region’s competitiveness, focusing on sustainable, scalable solutions for the future. Together with partners, they are shaping a future of innovation and development in western Sweden
The test and demonstration environment, PTC, initiated in 2008, is a collaborative effort between Innovatum Science Park, University West, GKN Aerospace and Nevs.
University West, PTC serves as a platform for research collaboration and education. Access to relevant equipment enables experimental research, and the network ensures that the content aligns with the needs of the industry.
The center aims to boost innovation, develop production technology solutions, and provide small and medium-sized enterprises with access to advanced equipment. Currently managed by Innovatum Science Park, University West, GKN Aerospace, Swerim and IUC Väst, PTC involves active participation from 12 companies.
