All of our hotels are centrally located, just a few minutes’ walk from several of the city’s largest meeting venues. Since Trollhättan is a 10-minute city, you are also close to restaurants, cafes, our beautiful parks, and the Göta Canal that runs through the city, regardless of where in town you choose to stay.
With our own airport, expanded double-track train traffic, three European highways, and a national road crossing the city, it’s safe to say that getting to Trollhättan is easy. Wanting to leave this wonderful place is an entirely different story.
Göteborg Stallbacka Airport has connections to and from Stockholm (Bromma) with up to eight flights per day. The travel time is just under an hour, and a taxi from the airport will take you to central Trollhättan in 10 minutes.
Trains between Trollhättan and Gothenburg are frequent, with a travel time of about 35 minutes. From Stockholm, the journey takes approximately 3 hours with SJ3000. You can also easily reach Trollhättan by train from Karlstad, Oslo, Malmö, and Copenhagen. Check the schedules on Västtrafik or SJ.
In Trollhättan, three national roads and a European highway converge. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes from Gothenburg, 15-20 minutes from Uddevalla, and about 3 hours from Oslo.
