In 1917, Trollhättan’s first “high-rise” building with an electric elevator was completed at what is now Drottningtorget, with the renowned Savoy Restaurant in the basement. Before that, the site was home to the Savoy guesthouse, housed in a charming wooden building.
Since then, a restaurant has continuously graced this location, evolving through the years to its current form – a blend of history and modernity. Today, the venue boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen and an elegant dining room, just a few steps up from street level. Below, you’ll find a cozy pub, and our crowning feature: a stunning outdoor terrace.
The restaurants terrace is fully convertible – with a roof and windows that can be opened during the summer or closed and heated in the winter. With a prime, sun-soaked location, it offers views of the pedestrian street, lined with trees, and the newly designed square, complete with fountains and greenery
