Every year, the city of Trollhättan invests in new art for the municipal art collection and our shared public spaces. We believe it’s important for art to be accessible to everyone and that it can mean different things to each individual. Sometimes, artworks spark debate and create new topics of conversation around coffee tables. They can be loved or disliked.
Many of Trollhättan’s public artworks are located near the water, at places such as Kanaltorget and Spikön, in the waterfall area, near the locks, and at the Innovatum District. In the surroundings of the Trollhätte Canal, both visitors and locals enjoy the presence of art.
