Founded in 2019, this independent brewery is known for crafting beer using traditional brewing methods combined with modern technology. The building itself, once an abandoned relic, was brought back to life with the establishment of the brewery, adding a new chapter to its storied past. In the spring of 2020, the first batch was brewed, and the brewery now produces between 3,000 and 4,000 liters of beer each month, with a maximum capacity of 10,000 liters.
Visitors can find Ruckel Brewing’s craft beers at a variety of restaurants in Trollhättan and Vänersborg, as well as in local Systembolaget stores throughout the region.
For those looking for a unique experience, Ruckel Brewing offers tastings and guided tours for groups of 10-20 people. These tours provide insight into the brewing process and a chance to explore the atmospheric setting of the old power station. Public open days, where visitors can drop by for a tour and a taste, are also announced on the brewery’s social media channels.
Whether visiting Trollhättan for business or pleasure, a stop at Ruckel Brewing offers a taste of the region’s growing craft beer scene in a truly unique setting.
